FAQs

Q: How many other stops (if any) will the driver make?

No other stops are made, we offer private door to door transportation.

Q: Do I need to tip the driver?

No, gratuity is included in your quoted rate and it is your option to give the driver an extra tip.

Q: Is my credit card charged when I make a reservation?

No, you are only charged after you have taken the ride.

Q: Are your drivers in uniform?

Our drivers are dressed professionally.

Q: How many pieces of luggage can the car hold?

5 or 6 pieces *( normal sized suitcases) of luggage.

Q: Is there a charge for canceling?

Any cancellation made prior to 3 hours before the scheduled pick up time is without penalty.

Q: Is there a waiting fee?

Waiting charges will apply after the first 15 minutes of pre-arranged time.

Q: What if my flight is delayed?

We track all flights so we’ll know if your delayed or arriving early. Driver will be waiting (no charge) for you in the baggage claim dept.

Q: For International flights, am I charged for Driver waiting?

No, we won’t send driver until we know you’ll be coming out of Customs.

Q: Is there a fee for having the Driver make a stop?

Stop over charge is $10.00 (A stop over within regular route of two destinations and not more than 15 minutes)

Airport Pickup Information
Our driver will meet you in the baggage claim area , he/she will be holding a sign with the passenger’s name on it. If there is any difficulty in locating the driver, please call 248-266-0808 for assistance.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation made prior to 3 hours before the scheduled pick up time is without penalty. Any cancellation made sooner will be charged the full base rate.

No Show Charges
Please do not leave the baggage area before you call us in order to avoid the no show charges. No show charges at Detroit Metro Airport is a minimum of $25.00 or full fare. No exceptions. Other airports & cities are subject to full fare + other charges.

Gratuity
20% gratuity will be automatically added for single payment convenience.

Deposits
All deposits are NON-refundable unless the reservation is canceled in a timely manner.

1. DTWcars.com is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date.

2. Company is not responsible for delays or the termination of service in winter caused by unsafe driving conditions (i.e. un-salted roads, accidents, etc.)

3. Company is not responsible for any loss because of service delays or termination due to mechanical breakdown. We do not provide any loss claim insurance for service interruption – customer is responsible to buy their own trip interruption insurance. No claim for loss may be brought against DTWcars.com or any of its employees.

4. The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the vehicles caused during the duration of their use by them or any members of their party.

5. A fee of $100.00 will be charged for each carpet or seat burn along with a sanitation fee of $250.00.

6. Alcohol consumption and drug use is prohibited by law. Any fines will be paid for by the customer.

7. The driver has the right to terminate the run without refund if there is blatant indiscretion on the part of the client(s). The driver also has the right to determine whether or not smoking will be allowed in the limousines.

8. Overtime charges will apply after the first 15 minutes of pre-arranged time described on the run sheet.

9. DTWcars.com is not responsible for articles left in the limousine.

10. Balances are required to be paid to the driver on the run date before the beginning of the trip.

11. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity.
